A friend of mine asked me to join her at the Michigan Fiber Festival. That's all it took. I was taken with felting. I just thought needle felting was the most wonderful thing I had ever discovered. Before I left the festival I had a bag of fiber, needles, bamboo blind, books and didn't have a clue what to do with it. Monday after the festival I called Barb Marr of Marr Haven, who was still unpacking from the show, there, I bought a Needle Felting Kit to make a bear. I was on a roll.
Then I started checking out web sites and I found so many yahoo groups with wealth of information. I started felted knits. Hats and purses. I love doing these.
